Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Mavaro Systems LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use SquadUp.
Product Boundary
SquadUp is a productivity product built around supportive momentum, reflection, Friction reduction, and recovery.
It is not medical, mental health, legal, or professional advice.
Behavior-aware product features, where present, are meant to improve product usefulness, not to diagnose or clinically interpret the user.
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- account information
- tasks, notes, and other user-created content
- device and notification-delivery data
- limited in-app usage and diagnostic data
- legal acceptance and consent records needed to operate the service
If you choose to enable phone calendar sync:
- we may access the list of writable calendars on your device so you can choose a destination calendar
- we may store the identifier and title of the calendar you selected for sync
- we may write selected SquadUp calendar items to that destination calendar on your device
We do not collect your personal calendar history from the phone calendar just because permission is granted.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not use cross-app tracking for advertising.
- We do not track what you do outside SquadUp.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate the service
- maintain accounts
- support notifications you enable
- support optional phone calendar sync you choose to enable
- improve reliability and app experience
- support explainable, product-level features inside SquadUp
Retention and Ownership
Your data is stored while your account remains active, subject to the retention limits and product behavior described in this policy.
To reduce privacy risk and unnecessary storage cost, we may clean up long-inactive accounts after advance notice where practical and where the cleanup system is supported. Our current inactive-account direction is documented in the Inactive Account Policy.
If you delete your account:
- account access ends
- user-owned account data is scheduled for deletion
- some limited records may remain where legally or operationally required
You retain ownership of the content you create in SquadUp. You grant Mavaro Systems LLC a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service.
Account Deletion and Data Rights
Where supported in your current build, you can delete your account or export your data through the in-app account flow.
